Sometimes traditions are great; and, sometimes new traditions need to be started.  I LOVE traditions; but, I'm also a person who likes trying new things and experiencing  new activities.

This year instead of cooking a Thanksgiving dinner, watching football, and then taking the obligatory nap, I am going out for dinner and a movie.  This is the first time that I will be dining in a restaurant on Thanksgiving Day; but I'm really looking forward to it!

I'll be going to a new restaurant in my area called Urban Plates https://urbanplates.com/.  Urban Plates will be serving a traditional turkey dinner, with a cosmopolitan, healthy, flavorful twist.  Per Urban Plates' website, "We use the best ingredients possible to create wholesome, delicious food that’s prepared before our guests’ eyes just the way they want it. Our hope is that by making real food prepared by real chefs accessible to everyone in a convenient, comfortable setting we can empower anyone interested in making better food choices to be a bit healthier, happier and hopeful about the future."  I'll let you know how the meal tastes!

During this Thanksgiving hoilday, remember to love the ones you're with and the ones you hold dear even if they're not with you.  Whether you are following the same traditions that your family has had for decades or if you're trying something new this year, be THANKFUL!

Happy travels with no travails, my fellow travel enthusiasts!
